Return, Refund & Shipping Liability Policy

Effective: 6/7/2026

At Blended by Kalana, every piece is handcrafted individually with intention and care. Because of the nature of handmade goods and the time invested in each order, we maintain a firm ALL SALES FINAL policy. Please read this policy in full before completing your purchase. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. All Sales Are Final

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for any reason once an order has been placed and confirmed. This includes, but is not limited to:

•        Change of mind or buyer's remorse

•        Ordering the wrong size (please use our size guide before purchasing)

•        Color or finish appearing different on your screen than in person — slight variation is inherent to handmade pieces and screen calibration

•        Receiving a piece that differs slightly from product photos — each item is handcrafted and will have minor natural variation

•        Gifting situations where the recipient does not want the item

We encourage you to review all product details, photos, and size information carefully before purchasing. If you have questions, reach out to us before placing your order — we are always happy to help.

2. Defective or Damaged Upon Arrival

While we do not accept returns, we do stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect — meaning a structural issue present before shipment — we will work with you toward a resolution. This is the only exception to our All Sales Final policy.

To be considered for a defect resolution, you must:

•        Contact us within 48 hours of confirmed delivery

•        Provide your order number

•        Submit clear photos of the item AND the original packaging

•        Describe the specific issue in detail

Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery confirmation will not be accepted. Resolutions are determined at the sole discretion of Blended by Kalana and may include repair, replacement, or store credit. Monetary refunds are not guaranteed.

The following do NOT qualify as manufacturing defects:

•        Tarnishing, patina, or discoloration from improper care or storage

•        Damage from exposure to chlorine, bleach, harsh chemicals, or from scratches of any sort

•        Normal wear over time

•        Damage caused by resizing, bending, or alteration by the customer or a third party

•        Minor size, texture, or finish variation natural to handmade goods

3. Shipping Liability & Lost/Damaged Packages

Blended by Kalana is responsible for your order up until the point it is dropped off with the carrier and a tracking number is issued. Once your package is in the possession of USPS, UPS, FedEx, or any other carrier, all liability transfers to that carrier and is outside of our control.

Blended by Kalana is not responsible for:

•        Packages delayed, lost, or damaged in transit by the carrier

•        Packages marked as 'Delivered' that the customer did not receive (porch theft, misdelivery, neighbor delivery)

•        Delays caused by weather, natural disasters, carrier backlogs, or holidays

•        Incorrect shipping addresses entered at checkout — please verify your address carefully before submitting your order

•        Packages returned to sender due to an insufficient or undeliverable address — reshipment fees will apply

•        International customs delays, fees, or seizures (if applicable in the future)

What you can do if your package has an issue:

•        Use your tracking number to file a claim directly with the carrier

•        If you selected shipping insurance at checkout, file a claim through the insurer

•        Contact your local post office or carrier hub — packages marked delivered are often held there

•        For USPS: file a Missing Mail search at usps.com

We ship with tracking on all orders. Shipping insurance is available at checkout and strongly recommended. Blended by Kalana will not issue refunds or replacements for packages lost or damaged after carrier acceptance.

4. Sizing — Please Order Carefully

Because all pieces are handmade and All Sales Are Final, it is essential that you order the correct size. We provide a size guide on our website and encourage all customers to measure carefully — ideally at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest, and in warmer temperatures.

•        For wide or medium bands: size up half a size

•        For slim bands: size to your exact measurement

•        If between sizes, contact us before ordering — we can advise

Ring sizes are listed in US standard sizing. Because our pieces are handmade to order or in limited quantities, we strongly encourage customers to confirm their size before purchasing.

If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for wider bands and sizing to your exact measurement for slim bands.

 Please review our Return & Exchange Policy before placing your order.

Blended by Kalana does not offer resizing services. We are not responsible for pieces that do not fit due to incorrect size selection at checkout.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may not be cancelled once placed. If you contact us within 2 hours of placing your order, we will do our best to accommodate a cancellation request, but this is not guaranteed. Once an order has moved into production or packaging, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Blended by Kalana is considered a violation of this policy. We take all disputes seriously and will respond with full documentation of the order, shipment, and delivery.

If you have a concern about your order, please contact us directly first. We are a small, founder-operated business and we want to resolve issues fairly. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in being permanently banned from future purchases.

7. Handmade Variation Disclaimer

Every Blended by Kalana piece is made by hand, one at a time. This means no two pieces are identical. You may notice slight differences in the following compared to product photography:

•        Finish texture — slight variation in polish or surface character

•        Dimensions — minor differences of 1mm or less in width or thickness

•        Color tone — slight warm or cool variation in silver or gold tones depending on finishing

•        Weight — pieces may feel slightly heavier or lighter than expected based on individual wire lot

These are not defects. They are the hallmark of handmade goods and the reason no one else will have a piece exactly like yours. Product photography is taken with professional lighting and may not capture every nuance of the piece you receive — this is expected and accepted by all customers at time of purchase.

Product photography represents the piece as accurately as possible; however, slight color variation may occur due to lighting, screen calibration, and the unique character of each handcrafted item.

8. Additional Situations We Want You to Know About

Allergic Reactions

All Blended by Kalana pieces are made with hypoallergenic, nickel-free materials (sterling silver and 14k gold-filled). However, sensitivities vary by individual. If you have a known sensitivity to metals beyond nickel — including copper or silver alloys — please consult with a dermatologist before purchasing. Blended by Kalana is not responsible for skin reactions and cannot accept returns for this reason.

Care-Related Damage

Our pieces are water- and sweat-resistant under normal conditions but are not indestructible. Damage from any reason is not covered and does not qualify for any resolution. Please follow the care instructions included with your order.

Promotional & Sale Items

All discounted, promotional, or sale items are strictly final sale with no exceptions. This includes items purchased with a discount code.

Gifting

When purchasing as a gift, please ensure you have the recipient's ring size before ordering. The recipient not wanting or not fitting the piece does not qualify for any exception to our policy.

Duplicate Orders

If you accidentally place a duplicate order, contact us immediately. We will do our best to resolve it if the order has not yet been processed, but we cannot guarantee cancellation.

Pieces Lost After Delivery Confirmation

If your tracking shows 'Delivered' but you cannot locate the package, we recommend: checking with neighbors and household members, checking all entry points, contacting your local carrier facility, and filing a claim with the carrier or your homeowner's/renter's insurance. Blended by Kalana cannot replace or refund items confirmed as delivered.

Customs & International Orders (Future)

For any future international shipping: import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Delays or seizures at customs are not grounds for a refund. Research your country's import policies before ordering.
